I'm not sure if this is even possible, but it would be nice if I wouldn't lose "focus" where i'm typing in the browser when a nethernet notification comes up. Replied about 1 year ago | Permalink |

I was thinking it'd be cool if people with the Inviting Badge could make Overclock/Impede Crates, which activate Overclock/Impede on whoever opens it, and only requires a crate and one charge of overclock/impede (kind of like how exploding crates require a crate and a mine), and whoever laid down the crate wouldn't be able to open it kind of like DP Cards. Daily bacon allowance, so that not everyone misses out on the action. Sort of a try before you buy, if you will. And you only get it if you log on in that day.

You should be able to gift/trade bacon (?& assoc tools) srsly. I'm a rich person with lots of money and bacon and would not be averse to spreading the love, personally. It's the same amount of $$ going to GL/TNN so I don't see that this would be anything other than good, and additionally create a lot of goodwill. --- Also I think there should be more 'free' tools to be unlocked with levels, as well as more baconised ones. If you support the free players then they'll be happier to spend $$, and there will be more ppl around to think about spending it too. Replied about 1 year ago | Permalink |

No clue if they were mentioned before, but some more of my ideas: - Update the crate overlay, to support the new tools (and maybe bacon), and with increased maximum stashable tools, like 100 instead of 10, and 10.000 DP instead of 1.000 - Linux support is still zero, making it actually impossible to use the toolbar, i suspect because of the overlays. What about adding an alternative to overlays? For example there could be a simplified mode, with simple messages like the tubes are clogged one works now, instead of overlays. Then one could switch between the modes, and i could happily use TNN under linux. - If the previous is too complicated, then maybe a browsing mode, which would work just like when i'm logged out, i don't see any overlays, anything, but i get dp as i browse... - I also vote for the daily bacon idea, like getting 1 bacon every day when logged in. It's not a lot, but enough to keep people satisfied. That's all coming into my mind at the moment. Cheers! Replied about 1 year ago | Permalink |

The problem with being able to use unlimited grenades is it gets really annoying and time consuming for people to try and debunk them or the worse counterpart keep getting hit by them. It happened a lot on the old pmog and made some users quit playing. Replied 5 months ago | Permalink |

What about being able to buy more than ten items when you go to the actual shoppe page? I can sorta understand limiting the in-browser shop, but the actual page being limited? C'mon now. Also + on the idea of having your primary class have some benefit above and beyond what's available through vanilla leveling with a possible limitation of only being able to switch classes once or twice a day... to keep people from hot-swapping to either not set off their own minfields, see what's on the other side o fa portal before clicking, or whatever. Some of the ideas back on page 1 are truly epic. Replied 3 months ago | Permalink |

To be honest? The whole toolbar needs a rewrite. The back end works fine, your main issues is the User Interface element. You haven't future proofed, you seem to stray from the generally accepted guidelines of toolbar makery. Sure, you could bring it up to standard, but it would just be better to rewrite it. A few things that shows the need of a Toolbar rewrite:
Don't start adding features while you still have issues with the features you currently have. That's like buying a new CPU for you computer while you have a failing hard drive. Sure, it makes things a little better but your not taking care of the original problem. If this thread is pointless, nevermind.... I am starting to lose hope in TNN again. It's been months and nothing has been happening with development.... The blog hasn't even been updated since early April! Replied 2 months ago | Permalink |
